five good minutes

I celebrated yet another birthday on the 13th of November:) I had a wonderful weekend! My Love took me to definitely one of my favorite restaurants, Knotty Pine on the Bayou. I had grouper, greens, red potatoes, wine...you get the point.

My love also gave me the book, Five Good Minutes by Jeffrey Brantley & Wendy Millstine. Its purpose is to give you 100 morning practices to help you stay calm and focused all day. Sounds great right? Well of course as any normal hormonal woman I was like, Love what are you trying to say:( But then I woke up and realized that lately I've been very stressed and he probably thought this book would be great to help me use that energy for something positive.

After I realized that I thought cool, this might actually help me. I try to use it every morning, and it only takes 5 minutes for each practice. I does help me get to a zen like place before heading to work:)

finally doing it!

So I'm finally doing it! I've gone back and forth for years whether I should create a blog. I even started one years ago after I finished school but after only a few weeks I was already onto another project:(

I'm much older, and wiser...lol. And finally ready to take this new project on. I mean I might as well. I spend far too much time in my Google Reader and sometimes I just want to share what funky things I find in this atmosphere. So...I hope you will follow me on my journey, and I promise I will here longer than just a few weeks:)
